Hand your sitter a clear one-pager instead of a long text thread. Fill in feeding, routine, contacts, and safety notes — then print or save as a PDF from your browser.
Free. Nothing in this form is uploaded to HelpingFido. Optional “save on this device” keeps a draft in your browser only. This is not veterinary advice.
Who this care sheet is for
Dog owners who need a clear handoff for a pet sitter, friend, neighbor, or family member — overnight trips, long workdays, weekends away, or anyone watching your dog who doesn’t already know the routine.
How it works
- Enter your dog’s basics and important contacts.

- Review, then print or save as a PDF from your browser.
Optional: save a draft on this device only. You do not need an account to print.
What’s included
- Feeding schedule and amounts you provide
- Medication reminders you choose to list

- Anything else you add in free-text fields
What’s not included

Tips for a useful sitter sheet
- Put vet and emergency numbers near the top.
- Be specific on food brand, amount, and timing.
- Note triggers (doorbell, other dogs, kids) and what “normal” looks like for your dog.
- Say where leashes, food, crates, and meds are kept.
- Include your phone and a backup contact who can decide if you are unreachable.
FAQ
- Do I need an account?
- No. You can complete the sheet and print or save as PDF without uploading.
- Is my information stored on HelpingFido’s servers?
- Care sheet form content is not uploaded. Optional “save on this device” stores a draft in your browser only.
- Can I use this for boarding or daycare drop-off?
- You can print it as a handoff aid. Facilities may still require their own intake forms.
- What if my dog takes medication or has special medical needs?

- Is this veterinary advice?
- No. HelpingFido tools are educational and organizational only. They are not a substitute for a licensed veterinarian or trainer.
- What should I do in an emergency?
- Call your vet or an emergency clinic. If you need help finding local services, use the HelpingFido directory (listings are informational, not endorsements).
- Can I make a sheet for more than one dog?
