Dog food ingredient analyzer

Paste a kibble or canned-food label and get a plain-language pass over ingredients that deserve a closer look. This is not a recall check and it does not say a food is safe for your dog.

How to use a label reading

  1. Copy the ingredient list from the bag, can, or product page.
  2. Read which items are fillers, additives, or vague names.
  3. Ask your vet before you change food, especially if your dog has allergies or a prescription diet.

What this tool does not do

It does not score a brand as good or bad, compare prices, or replace the feeding amount on the bag. A food that looks simple on the label can still be the wrong diet for a specific dog.

FAQ

Should I throw the bag away if something is flagged?
No. A flag means the ingredient is worth understanding. Your veterinarian can say whether it matters for your dog.
Can I paste treats or toppers?
Yes. Use the same ingredient list. Keep the result with the product name so you remember what you checked.
